I need an A* in maths to meet my offer for uni. I got my results from January and have 90UMS in C3, so I'd have to get at least 90UMS in C4 for an A*.

How difficult is it to get 90 in C4? Is it a lot harder than in C3, and so would I be better off retaking C3 for a higher mark? If you have taken C3 and C4 please can you tell me how you did comparatively in each, and how you found the C4 exam.

I got 97% in C3, 100% in C4 this January. The C3 exam was one of the more difficult ones there have been, whereas C4 was the easiest I've ever seen.

for some reason people tend to find C4 easier than C3 - I am one of those people!

Yeah it's true, C4 is usually found to be easier than C3
