    Hello guys,

I am considering applying for a PGCE this september. Could anyone tell me if they are recognised or would I have wasted my time if I do go ahead.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Yes they are just as recognised as a PGCE from anywhere else - one of my friends mums gained her PGCE with the OU and she has been working as a teacher for some time now.

The OU PGCE is also mentioned on the TDA website.
