The pill

Within how many hours of usual taking time does the pill have to be taken at to still be effective? Would taking it at 10pm one night and 3am the next make it uneffective?

Ok, ty  Why does it say it's so important to take it at the same time every day if it can be 12 hours apart each time?

maybe because its best to stick to a regular time every day.
but the 12 hour guideline is just there to let you know incase for some reason you forget to take it or whatever
the idea is, that you should take it each time each day for the best effectiveness! Continuously taking it at 36 hour intervals probably isnt effective, coz its like taking a pill once every 1.5 days! Really do need to keep it as close to the time as possible, especially if using it for contraceptive purposes.

So taking it usually at about 10, but some weekends maybe 1-3 would be ok? Someone just say yes and stop me worrying. :p:
One of the reasons that you're told to try take it at the same time each day is to stop bleeding between periods, which is a common side effect of missing/irregular taking of pills!

Yes, it will be. As long as you take it every day then it'll be fine.
