    Yeah I work there and it's Tesco policy to offer free eye tests for everyone. No obligation to buy glasses from Tesco either, you can take your prescription to Specsavers etc.

    I used to be with D&H where the test consisted of looking at the wall...

    Went to Vision Express and they are much more thorough, although because of this I had to pay £25 because there was no significant difference.

    I paid £10 at SpecSavers! I don't count as a full time student though so.

    why? i didnt get any discount at all, it was just a £10 private eyetest and i took advantage of buy one get 2nd pair free offer
