Dads hitting over the head
Did your parents used to smack you across the head hard when they got annoyed at you? Just wondered since my dad has done since I was about 7 I think and it just makes me mad thinking about hit since i couldn't hit him back and had no way of releasing my ager unlike him. Ive always wondered if its the reason I sometimes feel lightheaded and the reason ive fainted 5 times since I was 11, I hope it not and I wouldnt accuse him but what do you think?
Erm, mine didn't, no. I would just ask him to stop, simple as that. I am sure it can't be good for you if he's hitting you hard.

It would be a bit over the top asking a doctor though, if you don't have psycho parents your either really nice or suck up to them

Of couse it didn't do you any harm. I spent my youth getting smacked, getting in fights, falling off rocks, falling out of trees, cycling head-first into lamp posts - all the usual things a normal child gets up to. Children are not made of bloody glass and neither are you.

Absolutely, same here. Kids are more resilient than diamond. Fact.
Parents hitting is always a problem subject because you don't know how hard. I think the restriction now is "don't use reasonable force"- what is reasonable force? You could argue a tap on the wrist is reasonable force.
I used to get smacked, slapped on the wrist, although I never got hit on the head. Ermm... I don't know. I wouldn't advise it myself, but then again, I think a lot of kids need a good slap nowadays... they have no respect whatsoever. I got smacked when I was a kid and it did me no harm at all.

My parent's never hit me, my dad pushed me into a table once earlier this year when i tried to stop an argument with him and my mum but I can stand up for myself. I dont think it will have caused you permanent physical damage but I don't think that means it was right for him to do it
A clip around the head won't do you any harm- infact more kids need this thesedays cause they have no respect or manners- cheeky little bastards!

no. not his fault.
i have diarrheao a few times since i was a kid, but i cant atribute that to my dad and his trusty barstad of a slipper.
