Hey everyone

In October 2010 I bought some minced meat and it has been in the freezer ever since! Would it be safe to eat do you know?

Thanks

This says ten months, so you should be fine.

In an industrial freezer but I doubt it'll make much difference. Bacteria will still be pretty darn dead at normal freezer temp.

Tbh I probably would eat it! Freezing is okay for quite a long time, so long as you're sure your freezer didn't switch off during that time. Just make sure it's cook really thoroughly before you eat it.

Should be fine, it's been in the freezer all that time.

The other day I had some mustard powder that had gone out of date in 1996 and I'm still alive

Yeah why not. Unless you didn't freeze it on day of purchase but say, a week after, when it was just going out of date.
