Catching up at Uni watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi all,

I'm a 1st year undergrad studying BSc Economics. I got carried away with the freshers atmosphere here and have done little if any work and now have just 3 months to learn the whole year- is this feasible given that I don't have A-level maths.

Despite my poor efforts, i'm carrying a resonable grade with modules weighted 20% already completed at an average of 71%. The summer exams do look harder. I need 40% overall to pass the first year, I know I can easily pass Macro & Micro Economics- it is the statistics and maths modules I am more concerned about.

I am really going to knuckle down now and work 10 hours per day, every day to catch up and hopefully get a good overall grade- do you think i'll still be able to pass the maths modules given my position? Lesson learnt for second year, if I pass

Also if you have any tips on catching up, or studying for long periods please do post them-i'm a huge procrastinator and get easily destracted.
