Hey

1. It helps me stay in shape
Be careful - the subject ('it') is left out in the Spanish since the subject pronoun is not required. Something like: me ayuda a mantenerme en forma

2. He never gives any homework neither does he tell anyone off
Something like: ni da tareas ni regaña a alguien. Try to avoid calques such as decir fuera.

3. I decided to do it in my free time
Fine!

4. You have to work hard to get good marks
Remember the impersonal se. Something like: se tiene que trabajar duro para sacar buenas notas.

5. I am logically-minded
Not sure: I think your suggestion may translate literally as 'I have a logical mind' so it may work. You could also try something like pienso / trabajo de manera lógica.

6. Las asignaturas sea necesario
Possibly, but I think that the phrase has been mis-typed. Firstly, why the subjunctive? It's not necessarily incorrect, but there would likely be a preceding clause that requires the subjunctive. Secondly, the number of the verb is wrong: it would be either sean (if subjunctive) or son (if indicative). Finally, necesario needs to agree to necesarias.

7. School
None of the top of my head, but you could try being more specific in your essay, referring to classes or groups rather than your entire school.

Hope this helps!

Me ayuda a mantenerme en forma

Nunca hace los deberes ni regaña a nadie.

3. How do you say

Correct

4. How do you say
You have to work hard to get good marks
Tienes que (or "Debes" or "Has de") estudiar mucho para sacar buenas notas

I am logically minded is it soy de mente lógica?
Correct. But don't ever use Google Translate again. It pisses people off.

6. Does las asignaturas sea necesario mean those subjects are necessary?
It doesn't mean anything out of context. Something about "subjects" and "necessary".

7. Do you know any other words for school apart from colegio and escuela as I have repeated them too often in the essay
Instituto, clase, centro de estudios, centro escolar

. . .
