They're pretty much the same for two years You can definitely move from geoscience to environmental geoscience if you change your mind. Good luck.

PS I love all this interest in earth sciences.

I would say environmental, though I am biased. However, the environement is going to become more and more relevent in the future (I hope :p: ) which might increase your career opportunities. Also I presume it shows a wider range of knowledge and interests to potential employers.
