I have one in my room but it's largely just used for DVDs and Games although it is hooked up to the aerial.

Nope. Who needs a TV when you can get anything you want online nowadays?

TV tuner card built into on my computer.

But loads of people just use iPlayer/ITV/ 4oD etc to watch what they want.

Then go to the pub/JCR (or Common room) for football or other sports on Sky Sports etc.

I'm not at uni, but I know my fellow schoolmates who have gone to uni, that none of them has actually bought a tv for themselves, except one. But he is just extremely crazy after PS3 and Black Ops and that's the only reason he bought a cheap tv to play it on.

One of my flatmates has one, but she just uses it to watch DVDs. Anything else she watches on her laptop, which confuses me.

My main reason would be to play ps3 on occasion tbh. I can't imagine 3 years not being to play call of duty or something.

A few people just have screens for PC. No one i know actually has a TV with Aerial. A few have them for video games though...

For tv shows you use iplayer/4OD/itvplayer which don't require Tv license... Simples...

When I was in Halls no one had one...but when we moved into shared accommodation we chipped in for a TV License even though we barely watched TV.

We were more of a party house with Decks etc so we were usually playing music and drinking.
