Hi everyone

I'm thinking of studying computing and i have a question to those who already do.
What such studies look like in UK? (I'm an international)
I mean typical structure of modules or workshops and the level of a typical undergraduate course lets say in Java.
Do you study tutorials? How do you check solutions? Do you need to have some knowledge beforehand?

Thanks in advance for answers.

A university who offers computing will not require you to have knowledge of programming before you participate. It certainly doesn't hurt though.

As for course structure It tends to depend on the university. Most universities will publish that sort of information on their websites.
e.g.
http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/computing...uting/lectures
Under the OOP course it says that they have " Teaching 20 one-hour lectures and 10 one-hour tutorials"

Again it depends on the uni. Your best bet is to get in touch with the admissions department of the Uni's you are thinking of applying to and asking them your specific questions.
