Hello guys so is it?
my mum is a single mum and she was out of work for ages and she just managed to get a new job which pays a lot less then what she used to get. anyways bills pilled up and everything and the government helps her with tax something that helps her pay for the rent whilst me and my brother are on full time education.
I really want to do an apprenticeship now but im scared that it may cause my mum to lose that governement help.
does anyone know what I should do? I mean I cant be doing with proper college work no more I'm currently finishing my last year at college and I would like to do something different and jobs are so hard to find specially where I'm at.
any advice would be appreciated

Generally Apprenticeships are classified as full time work since you get day release or go to night school. Apprenticeships are normally paid aswell. You can get help though, if you're on a low income look into claiming housing benefit or council tax benefit.
Talk through it with your mum and go in and talk to someone at CAB - Citizens Advice Bureau or even your local authority; Civic Centre etc.. to try and find out what your options are.
