German memory of WW1 Watch

Hi there.
I dont want the exact answer obviously but a pointer in the right direction.

What is German memory of World War 1, Myth and legend etc

How did this affect Germany upto WW2.

In short. The peace treaty pissed them off because of the war guilt clause and the destruction of their military which was a major part of the German Empire. It affected Germany by allowing people like Hitler to play on this anger and resentment and to eventually gain power and then onwards to world war two.

A very traditional approach used by many extremist groups like the Nazis was the stabbed in the back by the politicians and they blamed the Jews too.

Everything I find relates to Britians memory of the war not Germans.
