I was wondering what the general consensus for the glaciers/cold environments topic was in terms of difficulty and compared with coasts.

In our school, we didn't have the option of doing coasts, but we did go to Switzerland for a week to experience the features first hand, and although it was time consuming and i had to catch up on 5 days of schoolwork, I think it was worth it.

At the moment, I can now recall all the landforms and their formation from memory, but I'm having issues with the things we didn't focus on in that week - periglacial and fluvioglacial features and processes...

I'd like to know, firstly, opinions about this physical topic, and secondly, any revision notes on the site that I haven't been able to find, on the periglacial, and fragile environments bits of the course.

thanks x

If you've been taught Cold Environments, then do that topic. It isn't too hard either.

I've posted these thus far -
