I have received 3 rejections to study medicine so far (and expecting another one any day) so I have started to plan my gap year.

I am planning on doing Operation Raleigh and my question is: Is doing this over October to December ok?? due to timings of interviews etc... (or will unis understand?)

Also is there any point in doing medical volunteering overseas after April next year (if I apply for 2012 entry)

Hope this makes sense to you all!

Thanks for your help in advance!!

Schools will understand, although you may need to fly back.

That depends of course on why you would go? For your benefit?
