can you show me the calc
50% is exam so coursework sum is 50%. 69% of 50 = 34.5 which is how many credits you need to get 69%.

(0.10*70) + (0.20*68) = 20.6

34.5 - 20.6 = 13.9

13.9 / 0.20 = 69.5%
5. bump
6. Yep, you're currently on 68.67% like your earlier calculation stated.
7. Theres another module where coursework is worth 40% and exam is worth 60%

in coursework theres 3 elements

element 1 is worth 15% - i got 57%
element 2 is worth 12.5% - I got 70%
Element 3 is worth 12.5% - not yet done

What am I currently on and what do I need in element 3 if I was to get 68% in cwork?

You would need to get 77% in element 3 to get 68% in your c/w overall

ok so exam is worth 60% and cwork is 40%

element 1 is worth 15% - i got 57%
element 2 is worth 12.5% - I got 70%
Element 3 is worth 12.5% - I got 68%

what do I need in the exam to average 60% overall for the module? am i right in thinking i average 65% in cwork?!
You will need an average of 55% in your exams to get 60% overall and yes you are averaging 65% in your cw

how did your work out an average of 55? i worked out 57
You're currently averaging 65% in your cw which is 5% higher than what you want to acheive. Therefore, from your remaining exams, you can get 5% then what you want to achieve which is 55%.

im sure that is wrong as exam is worth 60%, cwork is 40%
It doesn't matter as they both total to 100%. Even if coursework was worth 2% and exams was worth 98%, it will still be the same.
