I've just accepted Bath Spa Uni and now have to decide on where to live.
The first option is living on the campus which is Newton Park Courts:
It is self cantered with a shared kitchen and bathroom. I will be really close to my lectures, but about 15 minutes away from the city centre. It is priced at £96 per week for 45 weeks.
The second option is living in the city centre which is Waterside Court:
It is self catered with a shared kitchen again, but I will have my own en-suite bathroom. I will be about 10-20 minutes away from my lectures, but right in the city centre. It is priced at £98.30 per week for 40 weeks.
The third choice is in the city centre again, which is Charlton Court:
It is self catered with a shared kitchen and with an en-suite bathroom. Again I won't be close to lectures, but right in the city centre. It is priced at £125 per week for 48 weeks.
I did some research and found out I can get a bus pass to go back and forth to uni if I live in the centre for £88 for 13 weeks.
What should I do? PLEASE HELP!

I currently live in Waterside. I haven't seen the Newton Park Halls because I am not based on that campus.
Waterside and Charlton Court are next to each other, at Charlton in my opinion you are paying for the fact its a year old, they both share staff and security, but more staff tend to be in Waterside, and the tiny car park when you move in is at Waterside.
The Charlton rooms are very nice and new, you get a slightly larger bed (not quite a double), a little more storage, but showers are tiny. If you pay the higher pice you will either get a slightly larger room, less flatmates or a 'view' - the 'view' is a con.
At Waterside its around six years old, I've found it to be a bit more social and the bathroom is a little bigger, you'll share with around 6 people, the kitchens are large, but you can only get a single bed. It is cheaper, and the standard is good, so if your money conscious its a better option.
In both Carlton and Waterside they will match you up with people. I live with three people doing the same course as me, and all of us are on the same campus.
The buses come really regularly (something like every 15mins) from Newton park all the way into town. If you live in Newton Park you will have to bus in to do your weekly sainsbury's shop, I suppose unless you get it delivered. And of course if you want to go out, unless you go to the union everything will be in town.

You will want to be as close to your lectures as possible when you have early starts especially if you've been out the night before...just a thought!!

Hey! I've decided to go with Waterside Courts, they're the cheapest and look really nice!
If you go on that website, it shows all the different types of accommodation, hope it helps!
Also, what course are you doing in Bath Spa?
