    Hi guys,

Been lurking on here for ages but now I need some advice!

I'm in a situation. Basically I went to uni in September, hated the course and the uni so I dropped out to reapply for 2011-2012.

I've since completed UCAS successfully and sorted everything, inc making my firm offer.

However I'm now starting to think I made the wrong choice ( comp sci at city).

I have another choice, QM, which I could potentially consider. As the days pass i feel that there are other unis I would like to consider, such as Royal Holloway, Essex, Kent and potentially some others. I would again apply for Computer Science.

I'm wondering where I stand, as I've done my UCAS app and made choices and I've seen that the deadline has passed.

    Please help!!

At this stage you'll need to contact UCAS, but your options will be limited. They'll probably tell you that you need to ask your firm (and insurance if appropriate) to release you, and then you'll be in Clearing. But the course you want at the uni you want may not be available and thus you could end up with nothing.

There is a very tiny chance you'll be able to use Extra - but again, you may not find a suitable place.
