# Significant figures help watch

1. We are always told to round answers to 3 sig figs, but when there is an answer like 2597402.597, it gets down to 2600000. Do I just leave it at 2 s.f then?

2600000 is correct to 3 sig figures. It is just that the third figure happens to be zero.
