I have too much responsibility at home, my parents don’t really understand how everything works and I have to deal with all their paper work and stuff. We live in a council flat and moved here 3 weeks ago, we have just kind of settled in but since the government is making changes to housing benefit we have been told that we have to either move house or change our contract.
My dad says he doesn’t want to change contract and that he rather move. But if we move then we’ll probably end up moving around may and this is when my A level exams start. As the eldest child (my younger brother is 5) I will be responsible for everything and I really can’t afford to do this. I need to do well in my exams and go to uni and get away from everything.
My dad is very stubborn and he says that he won’t change contract this means that the landlord would want his property back and that we have to move home again.
I don’t know what to do

Well, does the majority of your family want to stay? If you confront your father with them, he'll listen to reason regardless of how stubborn your father is.

Whatever happens, talk to your school about it. They may be able to provide help or give you extra time in exams.

Can you write down a list of consequences for each option, with advantages and disadvantages of each?
If it's laid out clearly it might help your father to understand that changing the contract might be a better option.

Well have you tried explaining this to your dad? - how your A-Levels could get ****ed up if you have to move around May?
If he still doesn't listen then there isn't much you can do really. You could maybe try & stay with a friend whilst your exams are on so that you aren't distracted by the move or you could ask your parents to deal with packing your room because you can't afford to waste time packing when you need to concentrate on studying for your exams.
Good luck .
