I use a sharp EL 9900 which is really good, for c3 I could check nearly every question on it. The trouble is you can't type as fast as you what so I also use a casio for simple calculations. The casio is also really good because it can give exact answers using routes and pis which the sharp cannot.

    I prefer a sat-nav for finding routes.

When it comes to calculators, Sharps are great, far easier to enter equations etc, and simple to use in general. The El-9300 (which came out in 1992!) is still the best in my view, but the more recent EL-9900 is also very good. The TI-83/4 is also pretty good.
