It's so mental how fast tickets go these days, I tried to get some for the XFM Winter Wonderland but they were gone in a matter of minutes.

Thats so annoying I've been checking for them as well!

    --------------

Actually, wait, are we sure these aren't just people saying this to sell tickets on ebay before they've bought them? Surely NME would have something on their website about the tour if it had been officially announced/sold out- the sellers on ebay can't even confirm what bands are playing in it!
    Agh right...just seen faketales post...phew!

    argh this is so frustrating!
I seriously think the reason it's so hard to get tickets for so many things these days is ebay...it's ruining the music scene

oh balls! Was definitely planning on going to this again, not that I can actually afford it mind...

edit: My god that link is absolutely appalling, it's unreal. What's worse is people are willing to pay that much, it really is not on, shameful.

So if tickets go on general sale on wednesday and more go on sale tomorrow (technically later today) then why are people going bananas on ebay trying to bid for tickets in the region of £100+ for a pair?!

Seems like utter lunacy to me, paying that much when you can buy them face value ina day or 2, after reading the NME website and post above, i'm just gonna buy mine for £15.50 at the academy itself, screw booking fees and the like.

yeah it does seem a bit odd.

I'm running down to the union tomorrow morning to get mine.

Whats also funny is that people are bidding for them, when if you go through the bands website (link above) you can get most dates anyway. (no sheffield though )

ahhh unlucky! Which date are you planning on going to then?

Me and my housemates were even considering buying a load and then selling them on, I know it's really slack to do it but my god we need the money, only thing is we can barely afford 1 ticket let alone 4 or more!

Meh...Brixton's been sold out in the pre-sale for ages! It's the nearest to me, so I'll try for it in the morning, if not I guess I'll have to go to Brimingham or something- I feel a need to see this tour!
