I want to have a career in politics. I would love to be involved and responsible for managing campaigns is volunteering a good way to start? If I volunteer would paid opportunities arise once I have a bit of experience behind me?

    Thanks

Most candidates for Parliament have a constituency agent, which is a paid position. You could also become a local councillor. The best thing to do is to start volunteering, and then see what opportunities arise. Putting in the hours looks good on your cv.
