All you will do is cost the higher ups more cash to defend against it and as a result they cut more things that serve you in the community. And what do you accomplish? Nothing. Absolutely nothing which is shown by the conference over the weekend.

I wonder when he will make his next trip to either university up there.
Perhaps in the lead up to the next election when he is trying to get the student vote again?

We can decide that when we get there, the important thing is that people get their voices heard.

There are lots of things to protest against, Colonel Gaddafi, Mubarak, earthquakes, animal testing, Royal Wedding, John Terry's reinstatement, something Israel has done, Vietnam, free the weed, tuition fees, Blair and Bush

Did you really think he would do that?

    What a coincidence!
Tonight just happens to be 'walk round Sheffield with a flame-thrower torching lying politicians' night!

I skim-read that thinking "god this person's a complete moron" before realising that you were being sarcastic, then I was highly relieved.

This is pathetic, the man is just trying to do his job and is making a speech to an Industry that has been growing for the past year. If your going to protest against him at least protest against a failure in government, not a success.

Shame on you. Politicians do a difficult job and frankly the last thing they need (and the least constructive too) is a bunch of half-arsed layabouts shouting general abuse at them.
