What websites would you guys recommend? I've come across gvi but wanted to know what people made of it? Any other sites people would recommend?

I'm looking to go for less than three months and hopefully asap. Central America and Australia would be ideal.

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place.

Definitely agree that it's important to research the company you travel with as the majority are profit-based.

In the case of BUNAC; we are a non-profit organisation so we can assure our volunteers that 70% of their programme costs go straight to the developing world. The remainder covers the admin costs and support required to get a volunteer from the UK to the developing world safely and to ensure that their time and money is invested in a worthy project.
For this reason, our programmes are great value for money starting from just £295 for 3 months. We also offer a Work Australia programme which means you can live and work in Oz for a full year with job-hunting and accommodation-finding support.
