Basically I am doing A2 P.E at the moment. For AS I was 1 UMS off an A so I got a high B. I need an A for my uni course. I was off for a week with a virus when my P.E coursework was given out and I went to my teachers and got very little guidance. They could not even give me an example piece or a physical piece of paper telling me what to do, it was all verbal. I did the best I could. I was doing it on Tennis as I'm a national level tennis player so I know quite a bit about it, more than my teachers as none are tennis specialists (without sounding big-headed). I did the coursework the best I could but then my bag was stolen which had my coursework notes in that were marked. I explained this to my teacher and they said they are only allowed to mark it once. So I had to start from scratch with no help and struggled and handed it in 2 days late. We then had ages and got marks back today. The unit is out of 120 with 60 being for practical and I got 54 and 60 for the theory part and I was given 38. I thought I did a really good job of it in the end. I got the lowest in my group and was wondering do you reckon I could do it completely again or could I ask AQA to externally moderate it? I do not trust my teachers as they haven't been very fair to me in the past and I really need an A in the subject. Anyone else been in a similar position?
