future 4 science job interview - working with children watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice/ideas?

Ive recently been offered a job interview for a part time job with future 4 science.
The job is going around primary schools and doing simple science demonstrations for them.

Ive got the interview in a few days, and in the interview I have to do a science demonstration for 3mins that could be presented to a class of primary school children. Ive decided to use stick insects, because I happen to have eggs, babies and adults at the moment, and could talk about how they shed their skin to grow and change colour etc.

I also have to think about how I would handle everyday situations with children in a teaching environment.

So, my question is - does anyone have any experience in teaching children and could give me some pointers of everyday situations to think about? and does anyone have any comments about the stick insect idea?

    thank you!
i would really really love this job!
