    Hi there

I recently received an invite for a first round interview with KPMG for the tax line. Now this being my first application to one of the top 4 accounting firms, I'm not really sure what to expect at the interview. What sort of questions do they ask, and is there anything that I need to know specifically for the interview.

I have written up some examples of my experiences as,some information about KPMG and why I have decided to choose Tax as a career.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your questions will be mainly based around your PAPI questionnaire. Example questions can be found here:

Massive guide to the whole KMPG process there, feedback on there suggests that it's a good guide to what to expect.

To be honest there's so much information there that the main challenge is to actually present yourself in an interview. Just practice answers to the questions you find online and you should generally be fine - oh, and don't be shy to engage with the interviewer in a normal conversation.

Thank you for the link, that has proved to be very helpful!

One question I've been looking at and I'm unsure about is the factors affecting professional services. I've read an article on the potential break up of the big 4 as one factor which is surrounding the industry. Are the interviewers looking for a response like this?
