manchester university life sciences help!!! watch

    • Thread Starter

    hi guys!
you know if you choose a life science at manchester university, at the end of the 1st year can you transfer to another similar life science
for example if you are doing a microbiology degree, can you transfer to a biomedical science degree without beginning all over again from year 1 because i heard that in the first year everyone at the life sciences in manchester uni pretty much studies the same stuff

    thank you

Yeah, you can, although you have to make sure you've done the modules that are necessary to switch onto that degree programme, and for a couple of the programmes there are talks at the end of your first year which are compulsory.

For example, if you were on a Biology degree in the first year, and you decided you wanted to switch to Microbiology, there's a specific module you have to take otherwise you will not get on it.
Everythings listed in the first year handbook, it's not too complicated.

    Good luck
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
