Six people were arrested after the contraceptives were found in hundreds of boxes at a warehouse and home in northern Perak state.

They were stolen while being transported to Japan two months ago.
The condoms were loaded into a container at a factory in Malaysia. But the shipment was empty when it arrived at the company's main plant in suburban Tokyo.

The men were allegedly storing the condoms, estimated to be worth $1.5 million (£932,000), in the hope of eventually selling them.

Police chief Mohamad Shukri Dahlan said that some of the suspects worked for the company that was transporting the condoms.

The men face 10 years in prison if convicted of corruption. The condoms are going to be returned to one of Japan's first condom makers, Sagami Rubber Industries, which is the biggest condom company in the country, founded in 1934.

This is what happens when you over estimate how lucky you're going to get.
