    Doooooooooooooooonnnttttttt!

I guess it's too late. Were your ears alright after watching the video?
:afraid: No! My ears will never be the same again! It's so **** and I didn't think it was possible to sound crap while autotuned! Why did it become so popular? I know it's poo but if people had left it alone I would never have heard of it! It's sort of catchy... :sigh:

    Just seen this. http://www.switched.com/2011/03/18/r...-black-friday/

Harsh, man. Harsh. But for the pain she's put me through I'll let it... nah, she still doesn't deserve it!

That song is the most awful pile of **** I've heard in a while... I'll never ever complain about Rihanna again!

I feel really sorry for her. It's the producers' fault. http://arkmusicfactory.com/ This is their website, if you take a listen to the other songs they've produced then you'll see that it's them who are in total control, not the poor young teenagers who are singing their crappy songs! Apparently this Rebecca girl's parents paid a small fee for her to be recorded, and she only got a choice of 2 songs, both written by these awful 'musicians'. I've heard her singing a much better song with no effects and she's miles better! She's just the face and voice (auto-tuned of course) of this terrible company and is getting the blame for all of their terrible musical decisions. She's 13 for God's sake leave her alone! Okay rant over

Have you guys heard the fake Bob Dylan version? It actually sounds sort of soothing and less irritating!

    Oh, poor you.

I am sorry I came to save you a bit late.

Yes, the song is completely crap. Especially the lyrics, the melody is alright though. It's catchy and it is stuck in my head. XD

I feel sorry for her and all of this I will blame her parents for putting her through it, paying 2K to ****ty producer to produce **** music. :O

By the way, this might be funny...

Yep - it clearly (and logically) NOT just a few celebrity obsessed few, but all 300 million of us are currently glued to our screens awaiting to know the emotional state of Rebecca Black. 'Tard
Shame you don't have any rep. Can't take you seriously at all.

It's not really personal, she has a really nice voice. People critisise everything because it's amusing.
But, to be fair, it is the most pointless song.
    Ever heard of Autotune?

    (Original post by CherryCherryBoomBoom)
Oh, so she was actually being serious with this song? Wow....

As much as I think it's a bad song, I still can't stand anyone who has the nerve to write really nasty unnecessary comments. On the other hand, if she wants to be famous, she better start growing a thick skin, cos every celeb needs one.
Nasty comments are usually fully deserved, rarely does someone with real talent get abuse for no reason.

At the end of the day she's still only 13. If this was said by a bully on the school playground, and a school didn't take any notice, everyone would be up in arms about it.
Exactly. She is 13. In a musical sense she has absolutely nothing to offer unless she is a wonder child who can play Mozarts discography blind folded with one hand. She is a pawn and a monument to everything wrong with popular music nowadays. I couldn't care eess if she is/was bullied seeing as she is a soulless vessel thrown into the limelight solely for corporate gain.

She made her bed... (and hopefully I'm not just quoting a lyric from her song here)
You sure about that? The vast majority of children who attempt to become famous are pushed into it by their parents.

lol operation black friday! XD I found the name hilariously fitting.

Though, I think what she and her producers did was an act of desperation for popularity and celebrity status... Thats what you get really if you attract the wrong set of people
