Who are your political influences and why? It can be from just the one up to many different influences

For me I'd say my main political influence is Milton Friedman because (in my opinion) his ideas still apply to today and what is wrong today and how they can be fixed, especially in terms of economics.

Also Adam Smith, Ludwig Von Mises, John Stuart Mill and John Locke (no, not the one from Lost ).

Just Mill so far anyway. I have not done much political philosophy in awhile.

Aristotle, Marx (to a certain extent - I wouldn't actually consider myself a Marxist), Locke (quite like the tabula rasa idea), Dahl, Mill, Hobbes

Some influences are somewhat negative but I consider them an influence nonetheless.
