Saw Drive a few days ago, not quite film of the year but well worth the watch and it has some great performances in it, really liked the soundtrack too

Hope to catch immortals on the weekend at some point if I can
Tintin. <3

What a film.

Woah, I haven't been here for a while.

Saw the Winter's Bone on tv the other night. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't really know what I was expecting, but the the film took me completely by surprise. Great acting from Jennifer Lawrence, and the story and the mood the film sets in all it gloominess and realism completely sucked me in. The ending was especially powerful. A slight complaint though: the sound quality of the film wasn't great which made it hard to follow the dialogue at times.

I also watched the first 45 minutes of Fantastic Four. I was kind of enjoying the mindless entertainment, but someone wanted to change the channel, and I didn't really find the film good enough to warrant an argument against it.

I'd quite like to see Contagion. Any thoughts on the film?

No worries, I look forward to it.

Can anyone tell me what Wedding Crashers is like? I might be watching it at a party in a few days, but I've heard mixed reviews. :s-smilie:

Predictable formula but it's quite an enjoyable film.

Thanks  I wasn't looking for anything too taxing on the brain, so all's good.
