Well, the film viewer always wants to watch a good film. But I don't mind, anything that invites thinking and is generally well made.

Invites thinking and is well made - that's pretty vague. I'll have a go, though:

    - Blade Runner?
    - Being John Malkovich?
    - Rashomon?
    - Gone Baby Gone?
    - Mr Nobody?

Just a couple; I'll probably think of more later on.

Saw Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol last night. Thought it was pretty average, some good bits. The Dubai bit was awesome though. :awesome:

Thanks for the recommendations, but I've seen them (including the top 500 films on IMDB). If anymore come to mind, be sure to let me know!

Today I learned that Sly Stallone started his career in soft core porn.
The other day I learnt that he has paralysis in his faced caused by a damage nerve from where the midwives used the forceps wrong pulling him out his mum.

Don't know if this is the right thread or anything but any Spanish speakers or people who don't mind subtitles, I urge you to watch La Lengua De Las Mariposas (Butterfly's Tongue), there might actually be an English version.. It is one of the best films I've ever seen

You've seen Mr Nobody? :awesome: Not many people I know have. How did you like it?

I don't remember which films are on the IMDB 500, but I suspect you'll probably have watched the recommendations I have to offer. I'll have another go anyway:

    - Red Road?
    - Fish Tank?
    - The Wind that Shakes the Barley?
    - Jackie Brown?
    - The Game?
    - Traffic?
    - Before the Devil Knows You're Dead?
    - Salaam Bombay!?

So just watched the Sherlock finale, the episode based around 'The Final Problem' which was really the same premise for the Game of Shadows film. :coma:

Anyone who doesn't watch the show, should watch it.
