Django Unchained was immense. Loved it and I've seen it three times already.
I saw this on Saturday and thought it was way too long as is pretty much all of Tarantino's work post 2000. The performances were great all across the board though, especially Leonardo DiCaprio and Christoph Waltz.

I watched The Raid the other night, was great fun.

Also watched Lady Vengeance which is the first Korean film I've watched that I've been disappointed with!

I'd definitely recommend it, the fighting choreography is awesome.

I haven't seen it but a lot of people compare it to Dredd, it just has a lot more hand to hand fighting rather than guns. I just thought the film was great fun tbh.

Haha can't say I'm surprised, I never really go out of my way to watch a comedy unless I know I'm going to enjoy it. Just saw the trailer for it, looks pretty funny.

A friend and I were trying to find a movie to go to that the weekend, but only Django was on, and we both decided we didn't want to give that cretin Tarantino any of our hard-earned cash for yet another overlong piece of self-indulgence. (Why, oh why, can he not just stick to making quality movies like Pulp and Jackie Brown?... oh well).

But then, Kermode makes it his film of the week! Very surprising given how much he ****s him off.

Now genuinely confused  about what to do.

    How about:

    Dr Strangelove
    Shaun of the Dead
    Hot Fuzz
    Goodbye Lenin!

Comedy isn't really my forte. Some of those might be on the IMDB 250 as well, I haven't really paid much attention to that list.

I'm in the mood to watch Drama right now , something emotional if you've got anything good will rate for for life my friend.

Zodiac's excellent. Great actors (Ruffalo and Gylenhall) and a great director (Fincher)

Indeed, one of the better crime mysteries out there with good performances. it's not se7en, but it is better than the vast majority of crime films out there, you know the kind of run-off the mill that are enjoyable to watch when on TV on a saturday night.
