I'm currently studying economics at cambridge and I am considering doing a masters in economics when I graduate. Is is worth the cost and time? If I landed a full-time offer from a BB bank would it be advisable to turn this down to do a masters?

Well it seems abit pointless if you get an offer for the job your aiming for

I need to do a masters, the degree I'm currently doing isn't worth much. Atleast if I do something unrelated, I.E finance/accounting etc, I'd have a better shot at getting a decent job.

Well if you apply for another job after you've got it you're more likely to be hired than someone without one.

No. In your situation particularly, a Masters will add little to no additional value to your application. It just gives you more time to apply assuming you miss the train the first time.
