Alastair Sim - he's been on television twice already today, in Scrooge (1951) and The Ladykillers (1955). Fantastic actor. Ken Stott is pretty recognisable too, as Rebus and soon to be in the new Hobbit films. Other than that, several Lords, Sirs, politicians, a plethora of professional rugby players and one terrorist.

    George Heriots in Edinburgh?

    My school isn't that interesting

Margaret Kidd - pioneering woman lawyer
Kenny MacAskill - Scottish National Party politician and Scottish Justice Secretary
Gordon Sharp - Musician with The Freeze and Cindytalk
Alex Salmond - Scottish National Party politician and First Minister of Scotland
Iain Cook – from Aerogramme and The Unwinding Hours
To be fair, you have the current first minister and justice secretary. Us Herioters have to be content with former leader of the Scottish Tories and a few nondescript Labour MPs.

One of the guys from Stereophonics (can't remember which one) and though not really that famous the guy who is in charge of the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva went to my school. I've actually met him 3 times the last time when he saw me he said "Oh it's you again" I do seem to bring those emotions out in people.......
