    hi i was wondering whether i cud study biology on my own once i get my hands on da specification , or is it smthn impossible to do ....... and those of u who have done self-studies in biology cud u just give me a couple of tips , thnx alot .

    yep you can. one of my friends has just quit biology classes at my 6th form, but she is going to still sit the exam. she plans on self-teaching. just learn the text book, learn the revision guide, do past papers. end of.

    Yeah I know someone who is doing AQA biology and turns up for the exams. Takes alot of willpower and self-discipline though I would have thought. The syllabus and past papers etc are all out there if you know where to look... I'm thinking of doing the maths exams from home, for kicks, next year, along with an MSc cos I already have my first degree But I'm a bit crazy.
