Passed the test, but now needs to change home address watch

    • Thread Starter

I just passed my test. The examiner gave me a certificate and said the driving license will be delivered to my current address within 2-3 weeks.

Now I just realised that I will move to my parents' house in 2 months' time. So, if the license arrives, the address on the license will be wrong in 2 months time. Do I need to contact DSA now about the new address, before they send out the license?

No, it's too late. Besides, the DSA no longer have any interest in your new address.

It's the DVLA that you must notify as soon as you change address. By this time, your new licence will have arrived. Simply enter your new address into the white boxes at the bottom of your paper counterpart, sign it, date it and return both parts of your licence to DVLA. They will send you a new licence (both parts) to your new address free of charge.

    Congrats on passing, btw
