Chances of a TC without any VS experience anywhere? watch

    • Thread Starter

Any opinions on how badly firms view those applying for TC who do not have any VS experience at all, with any firms?

I think it depends on what other legal experience you have. If you've got some other work experience in a City law firm then you'll probably be alright, but I think firms will expect to see some sort of relevant experience to show that you have an idea of what working in a City law firm will actually be like (assuming you're aiming for City law).

I think it varies from firm to firm.

All I had was one City open day, one MC winter workshop, couple of weeks shadowing in regional firm and the usual law fair/firm talks at uni.

Understanding what City law involves can come in a VS shaped box, but it is not the only way.
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
