I've read a lot of stuff on TSR and in the papers about why the country needs to keep taxes low for companies and high earning people so they will be motivated to work hard and make more money.

But it seems if money is a good motivation to work hard, how would working for free motivate me or anyone else?

Because...ehh...you will be an inspiration to the children?

No seriously thats all I've got I still don't see a point in it. Money is a good motivator, working for free works if someone is working on something they are personally motivated by what they are doing but that usually relates to something such as a hobby.
