For some time now, every 1-2 weeks, I discover bites on my body (upper legs, arms, back) The first thing that came to my mind is that it's bed bugs, but my boyfriend hasn't had any bites on him. The bites are very itchy and warm. All the previous ones did swell and i thought its normal, because bites do that, but this one is so big and red and it's been so for the past 12h, I found it yesterday and it looked like another bite, but today I woke up and it was enormous - about 8cm in diameter, and it doesn't look like it's getting better, so I'm just wondering if that's even a bite and if it is why is it so swollen and why is it only me getting them?

i would reckon that this one is caused by an insect of some kind
but your immune system worked harder against toxins secreted by this particular insect (normal)
what you have here is a case of obvious odeama where the infected area become red hot swollen and painful
dont worry and make sure to use an insect repillant or buy a mosquito nest

I'd suggest getting some antihistamine cream on that, ASAP.

It looks like when I got gnat bites on the backs of my legs... Savlon was my friend for a little while
