I'm going to be studying in the UK this year (University of Warwick, MA in writing) and am currently having a very difficult time finding scholarships I'm eligible for. Thus far, I've only found two, and the awards are very small. There are a couple of organizations (Fullbright and Marshall) whose deadlines have already passed. Any suggestions on where to look? I read on one website that the UN might have some links to scholarships, but I couldn't find any.

International students aren't eligible for research council funding, I'm afraid, so have a look at the British Council's website for any scholarships and see if there are any departmental studentships at Warwick. There might not be some openly advertised, so speak with the department and see if there's any opening up.

I couldn't find anything when I looked through the British Council, but I wasn't aware there are unadvertised awards. Thanks! I'll look into it.

No worries. Have you looked at Warwick University's master's scholarships for international students? this one closes on March 25th, though

Yeah I've checked that out already, thanks though. That deadline is actually for applying for a program at Warwick. Tutors nominate candidates and it goes from there, so no separate scholarship application is needed.

I really didn't think I would have such a hard time! I figured I would at least be able to find five scholarships I could apply for...
