    Too long? Damn.

To be fair I don't think I'd have read it if I were someone else.

    BAM. Done.
    BLAM, prepare yourself for advice.

You could take a gap year and indulge in every hobby you can imagine .Reading, watching films, building stuff around the house etc etc. Over 365 days you should experience at least a hundred different recreational activities. At the end of the year, decide which one is your favourite and take appropriate action.

List all of your possibilities and flip a coin to decide on which you follow. For the moment the coin's in the air you should have an idea of what you truly desire.

If you're really failing the subjects you don't like, then quit them. You don't need blemishes on both your self confidence and your academic record.

Obviously the coin flipping will have to be organised properly. Have qualifying heats between two subjects, then quarter finals etc etc

Thats a good idea; I have no idea what I want to do with my life either, but once I finish my A-Levels, I'm taking a year out and going off backpacking around the world with my boyfriend. I'm hoping that a year away from having to worry about silly academic stuff and a chance to relax is going to help me decide what to do. Obviously working for the first half of the year to earn the money to travel is also going to show me what kind of work i'm good at. Why don't you try that?
