Alrightyyy, so at first I had a perfect idea of what kind of prom dress I wanted but now I've gone off of it and have no idea what kind of dress I want.

So I'm 5'7 (I think 5'8 at most ) I'm black but not too dark like a mid shade, i've got like chin length hair so yes it's short but by then my hair should be slightly longer. I'm quite girly and quite into dresses. Could anybody show me any safe internet sites in the Uk because a couple i've seen look slightly dodgy loll. Or tell me of any good shops to look around in the London area?

    Thank You all help appreciated

www.tiza.co.uk (prices cover all the shipping/import stuff that comes with buying an american dress that you'd otherwise have to sort out yourself if you ordered from an american site)

www.newyorkdress.com (american site ships to the UK though)

www.lightinthebox.com (copies all the celeb dresses for cheaper and they do turn out really nice. Still prefer Jovani and Sherri Hill as a brand but not bad if you're on a budget)

    You could try:

    http://www.dresssale.co.uk/

    - I've never bought from there, just windowshopped...

I have bought from here though:

    http://www.buycharas.com/

If I could I'd wear one of their dresses every day of the week

Friend has bought from them and said they were diabolical, so she got one from lightinthebox and it was so much better.

    http://www.tfnclondon.com/party-dresses.html?limit=all

i bought a dress to wear for my boyfriend's ball from here (this one http://www.tfnclondon.com/party-dres...ress-1010.html) and it was lovely, they're all really well priced and the one i got is good quality.

are you thinking little black dress or a floaty sticky outy prom one? Maxi one? you could go for a really bright colour if it's in the summer, there's a green one on there which is a lovely colour- would be very leggy though! hope you find one.
