I'm sure it is interesting but the ins and outs of surgery isn't really that relevant for you at the moment. The medical ethics one makes you think in a more holistic sense
At our school we did "Social Ethics" which was just our special way of doing RE, though it included loads of things like euthanasia and who deserves transplants etc. I'm guessing this sort of stuff is useful to be able to discuss? :awesome:

Yeah, 'Would you give an alcoholic a liver?' , assisted dying etc are quite popular interview issues.

    hey everyone

just wondered if anyone is going to the PreMed thingy? and if anyone's who's been on it before thought it was useful?

i didn't go to medlink (i thought it seemed too expensive and a waste of time) but is it vital to go on these kind of courses?

I suspect that there are many more successful applicants than there are places for these money-churning courses (referring to Medlink. I don't know too much about the PreMed course). There are plenty of resources available on TSR and on the net in the form of articles, blogs etc. So no, it is not vital at all

The shock twist of C coming three times in a row is one of the many highlights of this novel.

    you are very intelligent

    still, work hard

    don't go for prestige

the answer is, there isn't a book, i'm not bothering to read a book, i will research heavily on the internet though

competition is intense, as i am not chinese, i have little hope of getting in! my friends that are chinese admit they are 100x smarter than i am

apply to medicine in consideration to all schools

let your ukcat/bmat or a/s results decide which schools
