Well the conservatives don't have a policy!

But still i'd rather see Blair have another term than vote conservative!
And that's saying something.
...two party system, no real alternative

i plan to vote for socialist labour, they most closely match my views, even if they are never going to get any ground on reds / blues

The fact their original policy was slightly optimistic and needs revision doesn't mean that they'd do a worse job with our universities than our government is doing now.
I think conservative would be a viable option, if there was a 'stronger', more appealing leader and front-benchers. However, I think Blair will somehow come up smelling of roses in a few months time, that to me, is inevitable.

The 'work hard, play hard' ethic seems hard to live with all this new continual assessment malarky.

The scottich Labour MPs voted for the motion didn't they?
That's my point. because of them the bill got through. without them it wouldn't have. why should they vote on our matters when we can't vote on theirs?

I think the only scottish MP to publically abstain was the single conservative one. Tony Blair is probably laughing at us all while wearing a kilt and jigging to Auld Lang Syne.

Oh yes brill idea! Lets vote conservative and end up with no universities at all!
Thats so true!

Untill an hour or so ago, I was so for labour and I was definatley going to vote for them in the next election. But since 3 hyprocrytical labour MP's decided my future, I ve no idea who to vote for...HOWEVER Not the Tories that for sure, because this sort of bill would have already been imposed by a Con goverment ages ago!

So who to vote for now..
LABOUR whoses every policy I agree with except for the one that the most impact on my life
or the LIB DEMS who lets be honest actually have no policies but to opose the opposition even if opposing the opposition is stupid???!!!!!!???

The Lib Dems are not even a serious contender for coming into power next term. Their once youthful leader seems to be realising that.

Voting communist or BNP or something would probably annoy them the most, but it's not like they would care about one vote.

First of all I would never vote far right, whether that be Tory, BNP or any other racist / fascist group!
I am a leftie but I would never vote communist because that is just way to extreme!

And secondly one vote does make all the difference! As it was only 3 people that decided our future tonight!

Bear in mind the proposal still has to make it through the House of Lords. Might still be stopped. That'd wipe the smile off Phony Hair's face...

Yeah but you know the house of lords will probably be all for it...since it gives the certain opportunity at stopping students from poorer backgrounds goin to university! So they can laugh at all us pesants!

Actually it stops students from the middles classes more. As the poorer class would be given grants etc. Whilst teh rich don't really care.
