# HELP* watch

1. How would you solve the equation
x^2-2x-6=0
2. factorise it so that it is like
(x+_)(x-_)

it rather simple, the two numbers which go in the brackets multiply to make the 6 and add together to make 2x

Im not going to give you the answer though (;

It doesn't factorise so I would use the quadratic formula or complete the square
