I'm guessing that we would just check the box in UCAS that says "I applied last year and know my personal ID number"? What would happen if you made a totally new one?
I had to make a new one, with a new "108" Id number

We can start sending our UCAS off this Thursday?
    I'm taking
"we can receive your applications from mid September" to mean the 15th
Should be able to send them off
I mean there's only a month till the deadline
    ONE LITTLE TINY MONTH.
    Don't stress though :P

Thats a shame - I'm assuming it would be similiar for the biochemistry and molecular biology course they do. That looks really good, but since I'd never be able to afford graduate medicine, I want to choose something I can transfer to.

There's a cellular and molecular medicine course at Bristol that my friend is doing that sounds really good - and apparently after second year, there's an oppurtunity to transfer into first year graduate medicine. Thats what she's hoping for anyway!

I couldn't afford GEM either, i'd just kinda faceup to the fact that medicine is not what I'm meant to do, and I'm just not good enough.
I really love genetics, and like I don't know much about career prospects, but almost every degree has some kind of career prospect (except for maybe lady gaga studies)

So I took the ukcat today.. VR 630 QR 650 AR 710 DA 630 so 2620 total only slighty annoyed as last year I did better and I had four rejections without interview, although I stupidly appplied to really UKCAT heavy schools- Kings and Newcastle
I have A* in bio and A in chem and A in history A2 and an A in AS physics, and 4A*s at GCSE ( dual science history and geog) and 6As (english lang and lit, latin, french, german)
Anyone have any advice on where i should apply? I was thinking Manchester and Barts?
    Thank yoouuu

Barts rank for interview based on UCAS tariff with a cut off for over 600.
This is the first year they do it so I don't know how 440 (your score) compares to other applicants (unfortunately As's get their predicted tariff)

PMS might be a good shout, 655 may just be over their cut off.
Otherwise look at less ukcat intensive places e.g. lpool.

on Cardiff's GCSE system you'd have 22 points, so just short of their gcse criteria.

    Hmm I don't know.

I think peninsula's UKCAT threshold for last year was around the early 640's
so should be around 655 this year (it;s risky but it's an option).

i wish more people were doing pharmacy lol, i literally have no clue which uni to apply! bath was the only one which came to mind
I think it might be because most people (like me) aren't fully aware of what a pharmacy degree entails. I have a general idea but not a really good understanding. I've got medic friend doing pharmacy this year while reapplying he's at UCL.

So pretty much all my mates that got in for medicine have gone. Final batch left today. They tried to keep the excitement down (for my benefit I suppose) but failed. not been the happiest lad all day

Someone give me something to smile and/or laugh about please
