    Hey

Next week, I will be attending the AC for summer internship in the Global Restructuring Group at RBS. I would love to receive any information about the position (other than the description).

    As I understand, it's a FO role.

What specifical technical skills are they looking for: accounting? debt instruments?
What are the normal clients that they are working with?

Any information regarding the AC would also be highly appreciated! (PM also works)

    Thank you!

I have a summer internship offer from RBS.

The AC is fairly simple, one group study and then there is an individual presentation related to it.

One situational interview, where they really look for your motivation for working for RBS in the specific division and just a few basic technical and competency based questions. Nothing too hard. Should ace it if you are well prepared.

    Best of luck!

One more thing: How was the ABLE Financial Appraisal? Apparently you work for a venture capital company right?

The ABLE Financial Appraisal test is best described as a cross between numerical/logical test. Basically, its a set of 30 questions or so questions.
At the beginning, you're given a few rules, which tell you whether or not you should invest in a company. These apply to the first 5 questions. After these, the ruleset is expanded with more rules. You then answer the next 5 with these new rules as well etc.
Its a test of whether you can process the ever growing amount of information basically.

p.s. I may have made it sound harder than it actually is! It's challenging but quite easy
